Did you get the new tract?
by kid-A injust wanted to run an informal poll to see how "effective" or hopelessly "ineffective" the borg tract assimilation drive has been.. i for one, have not received the tract, and i live in densely populated development.
did anybody get it left in their doors/mailboxes?.

Blow up at an elder lately?
by Dune ini consider myself to be an extremely tolerant person.
i'm one of those people that are extremely yielding, never get into confrontations and things of that sort.. i've been fading for about two months but instead of being smart like everyone else on the board and doing it gradually, i simply just dropped off the face of the earth (by witness standards) and just focused on school and work.. theres one elder that has been calling my family asking about my whereabouts, the times i'm home, my cell # and all the good stuff.
i wake up at 6:30 in the morning to the guy calling me, i dont bother picking up but he leaves a message.

what about telling him your stressed at work or you need time? i would not give him an attitude if you just want to fade. because he is calling you so much i guess you are going to have to deal with him directly. good luck!

How many are like me?
by JH ini still believe in god.
still believe his name is jehovah or something like it.. still believe that jesus is his son, and he isn't god almighty.. don't believe in the trinity.
i believe in the resurrection.

i totally believe in what you do. that is why i am in limbo after all these years. i don't believe in the control, the pressure, (to give talks, answer at meeting, go to every meeting), the dates being changed over and over again, the shunning, and the holidays. other than that i do believe the same core beliefs.

hi, i became inactive fifteen years ago. there is a lot that i just don't believe. that is why i left. in the last fifteen years i have gone back and forth many times where i would start to attend meeting again for a little while and then leave again. i am at the point again where i miss the bible study and learning about god. i have tried churches but they all seem to believe in the trinity. i don't, maybe i just need to get that witness thinking out of my head. do any of you believe in the trinity now that your not witnesses anymore?

Are Faders "better" than DF'd or DA'd?
by ESTEE inthis is something i've been mulling over.
just would like to hear opinions as to whether faders, or inactive ones think they are superior to disfellowshipped or disassociated ones?
what is your experience with this?
-
inactive in jersey
i am a fader for fifteen years now. my mom says it is because i am too weak to da'd. i have no family in so that's not any issue. i don't feel better than the df'd or da'd. i am sure that everyone in the congr. knows that i should be out by now.

What would you notice first if you went back to a Kingdom Hall?
by JH infirst thing i'd notice is how the old ones got so much older and how the kids became adults and are taller than me.. next thing i'd notice would be how long and dull the meetings are.. *yawn*.
